Setting up a BT mail migration lab - Part 2 - VMware Adapters

VMware setup:-

The VMware adapter setup can be quite complex and easily catch you out. In most cases, in a Lab environment, you would want to use a bridged adapter. When you have VirtualBox installed and other systems you may find virtual Ethernet adapters that will be used by default breaking the Labs.

The Default setup:-

Notice the Bridged to Automatic setting.

The Automatic settings:-

This setup has caused me so many issues.

The Altered Setup:-

I have hard coded the bridged adapters now. In my case I mostly use WiFi and occasionally hardwired Ethernet.
